I trained as a GP in Gloucester. I was a partner in two city practices and represented Gloucester on the LMC for seven years. In 2008, I set up Gloucester GP Consortium with colleagues in the city and went on to be the medical director of Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust, before joining G DOC in 2016. I am a Clinical Associate to the New Care Models programme of NHS England and, until recently, the Care Quality Commission’s advisor on urgent care. I am a non-executive director of the MDDUS.

Before becoming a GP, I trained in emergency medicine and intensive care, with membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine. I have an MA in medical law and ethics and have studied transformational change in healthcare at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard.

After completing a Law degree, Jim joined the Army and was commissioned as an Officer into the Intelligence Corps. His career varied between Intelligence Officer roles and employment as a Plans Officer. During his 27 years of Army service, he deployed to numerous countries and worked at every level from tactical support to specialist units through to national representation at NATO and United Nations forums. Jim was selected for promotion to Brigadier but decided to resign his commission in order to provide more stability for his two teenage children. Jim wanted a second career with the same vocational sense of purpose, and having worked closely with the NHS at the national and regional level at the start of the COVID pandemic, he was keen for an NHS facing role. We are delighted that Jim has joining the G DOC team.

I joined GDOC in May 2023 as the Head of Finance.

I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006. I spent 15 years working within an accountancy practice, acting for a varied portfolio of clients in a wide range of sectors, with an emphasis on the not for profit sector. Prior to joining GDOC Limited, I was the Finance Director of a large Independent Boarding School, sitting on the Senior Leadership Team and supporting with the Schools strategic vision and aims.

20+ years’ experience in finance with a specialism in sectors whose aim is to improve outcomes for others, be it health or education is really important to me. I very much look forward to working with the team here at GDOC.

I joined G DOC LTD in October 2020. I have over 25 years experience in PA roles, mainly in the financial services sector. I am delighted to be part of the G DOC team assisting in the roll-out of interesting projects across Gloucestershire.

I joined GDOC in March 2021 as a Finance and Business Assistant. I have worked in finance for 13 years for various sectors such as fast food and leisure. I enjoy working in finance and In 2012 and 2013, I gained my AAT Accountancy Technician level 2 and 3.

I look forward to working alongside the team and learning more about GDOC and future projects.

I have over 20 years of experience in both the Public and Private sector in administrative roles. I joined G DOC in September 2021 and have recently taken on the role of Workforce and Recruitment Lead. I am looking forward to working alongside the team and assisting in the recruitment of staff across G DOC.

I began temping at GDOC in August, and became a permanent member of staff in October 2024.
I am an NNEB qualified Nanny, from Clacton in Essex, but began working in admin/ finance in 1987 to gain broader office skills and experience. I’ve lived, and worked, in Tunbridge Wells, St Leonards/ Hastings, London, Harwich, and now Gloucester.

The NHS has kept me in one piece for years, and I look forward to playing my part at GDOC, and supporting it.
